I definitely bought the Kanye (after I downloaded the leak last week) but I've never been that much of a hip hop person. I feel like I'll at least download the Cee-Lo out of curiosity. It seems like I should actually spend money on it (and probably spend money on Cee-Lo since he seems like he could have used the sales more) but times are tough and all...
I am not the biggest hip hop fan, and I am definitely not a pop fan. but, I didn't really hear anything in any of these that has that wow factor.
My favorite, as far as Hip hop goes, are the Madlib Medicine Show series. 10 albums of beat, tracks, mixes, sound collages, and genuine craziness that doesn't feel like other releases that i've heard. They are just so damned interesting to listen to. Problem is, they are more geared for music heads..not really general consumption. But, the series as a whole has something in there for everyone.
I was about to come in here and hype Pilot Talk II. Album is flames. Subject matter extremely limited but flawlessly put together. Kanye album is incredible and you posted one of the top 3 songs from the record. Kanye is 5/5 in albums and is one of the 10 best ARTISTS in the history of the rap game. Will def check out the Nicki Minaj and will probably check for the Lloyd Banks.

I thnk the Kanye is incredible! IMOit's the best since his first. It's sophmoric and free brash and creative plus I really feel like Ye put challenged himself to make the album. Blame game is probably my favorite track.

Bought the Cee Lo album and I've got to say... I expected as much depth and variety as the ones before
didn't get that... I like it, but my expectations were too high
Kanyes album I heard recently and he's not doing it for me either
And what's weird is the fact that I love both of these dudes equally but this is the first album for both that I've thought of as just okay
